Any last minute advice/tips/tricks for a first time tracker? (see details inside)

Hi,

On a strong recommendation from /r/astrophotography , I went ahead and purchased some tracking hardware. Tonight will be the first time I will actually use it (other than setting it up at home)

My equipment:

Camera : Canon T3i

Lenses : 50mm f2.8, 55-250mm f3.5-f5.6 (I willl definitely try the 250mm range, after all that is why I purchased a tracker)

Dolica Proline tripod with ball head

Ioptron Skytracker and Ioptron Skytracker ball head

Intervalometer (wired)

Location : Northern hemisphere, Bortle 5 sky, 50F temperature, 74% humidity is what is predicted.

Any advice for someone doing this for the first time ever? Setup tricks? What to capture tips?

I will post my results tomorrow (hoping I have something worthwhile). Really excited about this!

Thanks!
